Mini Split Air Conditioners
A mini-split air conditioner refers to a heating and cooling system designed to give you control of temperatures in individual spaces. They are comprised of two primary components. Outside, there will be a compressor/condenser. Inside is the evaporator, which you could describe as the indoor air-handling unit or units.
Unlike a central air conditioner that supplies cool air to an entire space using ductwork, mini split AC does not require ductwork. Each unit targets a specific room or area in a home.

Inside, our ductless AC installers will decide upon a location that is free of obstructions, typically at least six feet from the floor. The unit will then normally be attached to the wall via a wall bracket, ensuring that it is leveled correctly for optimum operation.
Installers will lead refrigerant lines, condensate drainage, and communication cables through a small hole in the wall to the outdoor unit in the least obstructive and most efficient manner. The mini split system can remove moisture from the air without ductwork.
You can expect the outdoor unit to be placed in accordance with local codes, the structure of the house, and for the sake of convenience. Again, mini split air conditioner installation will include hiding the visibility of drainage lines to protect the aesthetic appeal of the property.
